Last year, while in Żejtun, I met the owner of Kamra s-Safra, who described the space as a cozy room furnished with a sofa, table, small kitchenette, and toilet—primarily used for one-on-one therapy sessions. Since it resembled a small home and I didn’t have an art studio of in that time of my own, I saw the perfect opportunity to host an intimate exhibition for those who wished to meet me and view my work.

The setting was unique and personal, allowing visitors to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, accompanied by sweets, as we sat on the sofa discussing art and my creations. Despite the small scale of the exhibition, the turnout was encouraging. The intimate atmosphere meant that each visitor had my full attention, making the experience truly special.

It was a memorable and rewarding event, one that beautifully blended art, conversation, and warmth.
