“Ritrarti” was my first solo exhibition, held in July 2022. It all began when a photographer, who had long dreamed of collaborating with an artist, approached me with an idea to bring this exhibition to life. He invited me to paint over his monochrome photographs—a concept that was entirely new to me but one I was eager to explore.

It was an incredible journey, unfolding during the challenging times of COVID. Though we couldn’t meet often, we stayed in close communication, carefully planning how to bring the exhibition together. After months of dedicated work, our efforts paid off—the exhibition was a great success.

Over the course of two weeks, we welcomed a steady stream of visitors, receiving overwhelming positive feedback. With 34 pieces on display, we nearly sold out the entire collection. This innovative fusion of photography and painting was a fresh concept, and people absolutely loved it.
